Electrical Sub-station.
The electrical sub-station is approximately 30m x 24m x 6m high with a basement and is constructed using an insitu reinforced concrete frame and floor/roof slabs with rendered masonry walls.
We have also designed central control rooms, oil preconditioning, oil storage, water treatment plants, weighbridges, cable tunnels and cable bridges and administration buildings.
The clinker silos were post tensioned 60m diameter x 20m high chambers with a central reject silo 12m diameter x 38m high.
Clay and Shale Storage
The dome storage building is a 109m diameter x 36.5m high structural steel frame clad with profiled metal sheeting on reinforced concrete foundations with a central extraction tunnel.

This consists of three elements: a 16m by 11m concrete block which is 5m deep sitting on a vibration isolation layer to support the Raw Mill itself.
